Another solution could be to change the sound fading values (Option 
windows). Try to increase the Fade IN and/or Fade OUT values (depends if you 
hear the click before or after the TX) and listen if the choppy sound is 
gone.
If you find good fading values, please post them here. :-)

I agree too for option #2. Anybody else has another idea??? Let's proceed 
with #2?
